UNRAVELLING THE BONDS OF EMOTIONAL HABIT

BILL TARA

Our journey through life seldom continues without misfortune. We all experience personal failure, disappointment or even injury to the body, mind or spirit. All these events are etched into our essence. They become an integral part of our Personal Narrative – the story we create about who we are and what we can do.

A healthy narrative drives us toward our true potential. An unwholesome narrative keeps us anchored to the past and held back from our personal vision and life purpose. An unwholesome narrative appears in our emotional habits, how we respond or react to life as it unfolds around us. It forms an emotional landscape that limits our action and stifles our imagination. Fortunately habits can be broken and productive and creative ways of thinking, feeling and doing can take their place.

This workshop provides a fresh look at the relationship between our health, thoughts and emotions, presenting the possibility for a happier, more creative and healthier life.

Using visualization, group work and self-reflection it combines ancient wisdom from Asia and modern insight to create an environment where the past can take its’ proper place and the future can get some breathing room. We will create a space where personal narratives can be unravelled by the only person qualified for the job – the person who created them.
