PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Note: From end of 2007 and for 3-4 years the Bath Bus Station is relocated whilst the new Bathgate Shopping Centre is being built, consequently the bay numbers mentioned below may be out of date. During this time a new Bus Station is being built next to the Railway Station.

Bus: No 13 - every 15-20 minutes (Foxhill to Bathford) - Bay 5
Bus: No 231 - typically every 60 minutes - 17 minutes past the hour (Bath to Chippenham) - Bay 6
From city centre bus station - get off just after the shops on your left hand side. Walk back to the mini roundabout, turning up the hill (Bannerdown Road). After climbing 200m, the gates for the drive are on your left, just before West View Road - on your right. Please press the "doorphone" to request entry. The house is 80m more up the drive. The Clinic is the small building on your left.
Bus: NX 403 - Intercity Coach between London-Victoria via Heathrow to Bath stops in Batheaston. Runs every two hours. Journey times vary from 2h 50m to 4hr 55m. See link below for National Express.

BY CAR

Via Motorways from the North. Exit M4 at Junction 18, travelling south towards Bath on the A46, for around 8 miles. As you decend the road becomes a dual-carriageway, take the left slip road signed to Bath, but stay in left lane to turn left (away from Bath). Drive for about 1 mile, passing Batheaston village centre shops on left to mini-roundabout, taking the 3rd left up the hill, signed to Colerne & Marshfield. You are now on Bannerdown Road, as the road climbs and bends to the left, there is an entrance on the left through electrically operated metal gates. Please use the Doorphone to request entry. Drive through and up drive and park on the gravelled area adjacent to the house.

Road Travel Update:
Congestion.

• London Road from centre of Bath causing severe congestion during the day and worst during the tourist season (April - September) on the A46 – A4 roundabout. If approaching Batheaston from M4 – Junction 18, do not take turn off for Bath be stay on A46 (Chippenham), this Batheaston bypass will take you around the village. Take a left at the next roundabout (end of dual carriageway), then 4th exit at mini-roundabout up Bannerdown Road towards Collerne.
